Buyer advice
Buying your first home in the West Island
Buying your first home is exciting — and the West Island is one of the most welcoming places in Greater Montréal to do it. Here is how I help first-time buyers move with confidence.
Get your financing sorted first
Before we tour a single home, it pays to speak with a mortgage broker and get a pre-approval. It tells us your real budget and makes your offer stronger when the right place appears.
Know the neighbourhood, not just the house
Dollard-Des-Ormeaux, Pierrefonds and Kirkland each have their own feel — schools, parks, commute times and future development all matter. We will weigh the home against how you actually want to live.
Move quickly, but never blindly
Good homes still move fast. The answer is preparation, not pressure: a clear budget, a sharp wish-list, and an agent who can line up a visit the day a listing appears.
